Matt Kaufman

Matt Kaufman is a native of Louisville and a lifelong Kentucky resident. He is a 2006 graduate of Louisville’s Saint Xavier High School and a 2010 graduate of Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. While at Centre, Matt earned his degree in History while also swimming competitively on the Colonel’s Swimming and Diving Team.  In 2013, Matt graduated cum laude from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.

Matt is a third-generation attorney. He is especially grateful to practice law with his father, Marshall, and identical twin brother, Jimmy. Matt developed an interest in the law at an early age watching his father represent people who had been negligently injured and began working at the law office in high school.

Matt has devoted his entire legal career to helping those who have been harmed by the negligence of others. He specializes in representing people who have been injured in car wrecks and has a proven track-record of obtaining excellent results for his clients. He and his brother hope to carry on the traditions of excellence and integrity in all areas of their personal injury practice, firmly established by their father, Marshall.

In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Janna, and their two young sons.
