To honor her late father, attorney Cara Wells Stigger, of Kaufman & Stigger, has offered scholarships for U.S. active-duty military personnel, veterans, reservist, and spouses, and children of someone who has served our country.  For Veterans Day this year, Cara and Marshall Kaufman joined Maria Montgomery on WDKY to tell viewers how to apply.

James Allen Wells, Sr., proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He was drafted in February of 1942 and served until 1945.  After serving in Europe, James returned to his life as a farmer in Cumberland County, Kentucky.  He was devoted to his family and proud to have served our country.  James and his wife Sue encouraged their five children to further their education.
