New Circle Road carries heavy traffic around Lexington every evening and even on the weekend. Drivers can behave carelessly or even drive in a reckless manner to endanger several other cars on the road and even motorists in the opposite lanes.

A glance at a cellphone or excessive speed can cause a driver to lose control and suddenly be in the path of other vehicles. Other drivers can be caught by surprise and have little time to react to avoid a devastating collision.

Five Victims Injured in Accident on West New Circle Road in Lexington

A multiple-vehicle crash in Lexington sent five people to the hospital Sunday evening. WTVQ-TV said the accident took place around 7 p.m. along West New Circle Road near the Leestown Road interchange on November 21, 2021.

Lexington Police reported that a car driving on the outer loop of West New Circle for an unknown reason crossed the median into the inter loop and struck two cars. Heavy debris from the accident shut down the road.

Every occupant in the three vehicles was injured in the crash to total five victims. They were taken to the hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident continues.

Earning Support for Lexington Accident Victims

The victims of major accidents on New Circle Road are often left to cover their own hospital bills and to use their savings to pay normal monthly bills as they miss paychecks at work. These enormous costs can all come out of an accident caused by a careless driver.

When left in such a tough spot, injured victims can file a claim for damages against an at-fault driver’s auto insurance company. This claim seeks to secure financial support for victims to pay for their medical costs now and those expected to be necessary in the future. The civil claim also demands reimbursement for the wages from work the patient has missed out on while healing.
