Dangerous Multi-Vehicle Accidents On I-65 In Bullitt County KY

By Kaufman and Stigger on

It only takes one careless driver to create a hazardous situation for motorists on Kentucky interstates. Traffic moves so quickly that the tiniest mistake by one motorist can quickly create a chain reaction accident and put drivers and passengers in jeopardy.

These accidents can cause serious injuries and in the most tragic cases cost someone a life. That’s why motorists should take extra care, especially over holiday weekends when traffic can be elevated.

Multiple Vehicle Accident Tragically Claims Life in Bullitt County

An interstate accident involving three vehicles claimed one life over Labor Day weekend in Bullitt County south of Shepherdsville. WAVE3-TV reported the accident took place around 8 a.m. on Sunday morning in the northbound lanes of I-65 on September 5, 2021.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision that killed at least one victim. Information on any other potential victims was not immediately available. The cause of the crash has not been released.

Emergency crews closed all lanes of the interstate for about two hours as they helped investigate and clear the scene.

Earning Assistance for Victims and Families After a Bullitt County Accident

Families must take the time they need to cope with their grief after a tragic interstate accident. They will also need to protect the financial stability of their family members by filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the at-fault driver’s car insurance provider.

This civil claim demands help for close relatives as they pay for a memorial and burial service and ambulance fees. A wrongful death claim can also ask for help to secure the future of those left behind. They’ll now be without the love and monetary support the victim may have provided through a weekly paycheck.

Victims injured in accidents can file a claim for damages against insurance representatives and hope to get every hospital bill now and those received in the future paid for. They’ll also want reimbursement for the time they’ve missed while having to miss work.
