A two-car crash on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Beechmont injured two local drivers.
According to SurfKY News, this crash occurred at the intersection of Knight’s Loop and Kentucky 70 East at around 4:40PM. Allegedly, the driver of a Dodge Charger traveling eastbound on KY 70 E swerved over the center line and struck a Kia Optima head-on. At the time of the crash, the Kia driver was traveling west on KY 70 E.
Safety crews immediately transported both drivers to hospitals. Thankfully, everyone involved in the collision is expected to survive the crash. Police are now investigating the cause of this accident.
